Local Greens and Paleo
This was really delicious and nourishing.
The local leafy greens include:
- Dawn dewa,
- Ceylon spinach,
- Sweet potato leaf
- Malabar Spinach
- Red leaf lettuce
- Spanish needle
- Radish greens, and the radish too
Please use whatever local greens you have growing in your area. Dandelion greens are also a great choice. Go for a visit to your local farmer’s market. Best of all grow your own chemical free vegetables
Once you get your leafy greens rinsed and shredded on the plate, scoop the chicken and vegetables out of the bone broth soup that has been in the slow cooker for about 24 hours. The sweet potatoes added less than a half hour before the end of cooking and the other vegetables about 10 minutes before it is ready to serve.
Top it off with olive oil or dressing of your choice. Sea salt and herbs make for a flavor party in your mouth while you enjoy this wonderful Paleo friendly dish.
